Outreach
Praize Productions, Inc., NFP has provided over 11 years of service to our communities and has both Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and Chicago Park District vendor licenses. PPI currently provides arts enrichment courses to CPS schools to supplement the lack of access to arts education. Praize Productions also partners and contracts with community organizations, churches, daycares, and educational facilities to provide arts-based classes such as dance, tumbling, creative writing, acting, and much more for youth and adults. PPI’s performing arts classes compliment organizations’ present programming and enhances the overall experience for students. PPI creatively sculpts curriculums and lessons to tailor the specific needs to various organizations and its students. With licensed and trained teachers on staff, PPI can also design curriculums for schools that infuse the arts and Core Standards.
Businesses
& Corporations
Praize Productions, Inc. partners with corporations and businesses to help bring various industries to our communities and help those in need by providing positive and enriching arts-based programs to neighborhoods and people in need. From 2016 to 2018, PPI partnered with MeridianHealth Plan, Inc. for its national EmPowerHer Campaign, which educated and addressed health needs targeting women, minorities, and impoverished individuals. Praize Productions helps businesses connect with and better impact communities in the Chicagoland area, gaining exposure, positive influence, and fostering relationships with consumers.
PPI’s past and present community & arts partners include: Kennedy-King College, Reva & David Logan Center for the Arts (current), and Paradise Haven Homes.
Dance & Arts
Exchange
Through Praize Productions’ Dance & Arts Exchange Program, PPI takes its students to other studios/programs to cross-train and integrate students of different races, ethnicities, and from various demographics to studios and dance/arts programs across the region. Youth are able to experience arts exposure outside their own neighborhoods, gaining tolerance and appreciation for diversity by partnering and training with other youth that love the arts. Since 2016, PPI has partnered with studios and programs from Hyde Park/Kenwood, IL; Glencoe, IL; Edgewater/Andersonville, IL; and Gary, IN. In 2018, PPI teamed up with a professional dance company, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater to provide further immersion in Chicago’s performing arts. CRDT sponsored PPI youth to attend their fall dance concert, allowing youth to gain exposure to various genres of dance on a professional platform.
PPI also partnered with professional dance company, The Joel Hall Dancers, where students were able to both cross-train and dance in JHD’s professional production, Nuts & Bolts, along with youth from the Beverly Arts Center.
Several of PPI’s dancers were also invited to perform in Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre’s Winter Concert in 2017, which gave PPI’s youth the opportunity to learn from master choreographers and share the stage with other dancers from the Chicagoland area in a professional performance. Dancers were selected from an audition and attended regular rehearsals leading up to the production, giving them a firsthand look into working in the professional dance world.
